About the Author
April Radder is an aspiring author and illustrator, amongst being an art teacher for a local school district. This is April's first published children’s book, based on a true story, inspired by her cousin.
Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, April has always been fond of the arts and music culture. April studied Art Education at Buffalo State College and became a certified Art Teacher in 2010. She later pursued a Master’s in Education, while working several part-time jobs.
When April has some free time away from her husband, dog, and cat, she enjoys reading, writing, and drawing. April always dreamt of writing and illustrating her very own children’s book. The idea came to her while drawing a picture of her cousin on his sled, she thought what a great idea for a children’s book and the rest was history.
