About the Author:
Joanese Hadley is a former music teacher with over 32 years of experience. Her passion for arts began with piano instruction at the age of three from her father. She started writing poetry and songs as a child which later led her to writing this book. She is excited to announce the debut of her children’s book, “Friends”, which emphasizes the importance of friendship through imaginative characters. She hopes that this book is an opportunity for readers— both young and old— to connect with new friends from different backgrounds, and feel the warmth of true support from those close by.
About the Illustrator:
Sharifa Viola was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and is a self-taught graphic designer and entrepreneur. She has a graduate degree in Nutrition and serves as a Nutrition Educator and a Research Assistant. She is inspired, driven by faith, and uses her creativity to help others.
