Our Story
The Day My Femur Broke (by Samantha Moss)
“This is going to be the longest Monday ever.” If only we had known how true those words were going to be. I walked upstairs and was just about to open my bedroom door when I felt a snap! My leg was like jelly. I don’t know how I knew but I knew my leg had broken. I can’t recall pain at that point. I remained standing on my right leg with my left leg off the floor. I called out, rather loudly and definitely, for my husband. My specific words were, “Peter, my leg has broken!”

Sneak Peek of Chronically Empowered
When we set out on a quest to create our Chronically Empowered book, we never imagined one of our own would pass away before the book was released. The news of Oliver's passing has come as a great surprised and is so very saddening. We decided to provide you with a sneak peak of an excerpt from the book; Oliver's story. Feel free to share kind words in the comments, and share across our Chronic Illness Community in unity for Oliver's amazing gift to us by sharing his story with the book.

Dr. Geronimo, E.S. Dog to the Rescue!
Day Late, but NOT a Joelle Short!
Many months ago we reached out on social media to find interns. One intern, in particular, stood out. Her cover letter was phenomenal, and her energy was awesome. Many students do not know just how much being yourself in an interview is needed to make a great impression, but Joelle did that and even asked Jessica her astrological sign. These two hit it off immediately, and Jessica is consistently impressed with Joelle's drive. We definitely know her future is filled with potentials and opportunities!
The Adventures of Daniel Butler
College Credit!
She went to her advisor, Dr. Susan Keller-Mathers about the idea. Being that this was still only in her first semester, the graduate program professors had yet to learn just how committed she was to her education, and career. She came to her advisor with the idea to not only launch this business the following semester on January 1st but also to release four books during the semester at a frequency of one per month.
But...how long did it really take?
Mission-Motivated, but... Why?
Chronic Pain & Me!
The Day WE Thought of YOU
Everyday Starts with Love!
Every day, I see my son transform and grow with unlimited opportunities, and potential. Every time he pushes himself or finds a new level of courage, I am so grateful to have made the hard choices, and be doing the work I am doing in our lives. Every achievement, and lesson he learns, show me it was all so worth it, and I can’t even express my appreciation and gratitude enough!
ImagineWe vs. The Spectrum Heroes
One of our favorite stories to share about the creation of an OG book from year 1! ImagineWe developed a Creative Problem Solving session with children on the Autism spectrum... The kids came to the workshop with energy, optimism, and innate creativity...Two hours it took to reconstruct their personalities into superheroes and we gave them each special powers. These powers made them the unique children that they knew and loved. They bonded over their issues, and they even threw a bully into the book so they could tackle that problem as well...
